Management NVQ Level 4
Who should do this course?
The Management NVQ level 4 is suitable for middle managers who have considerable autonomy. It is aimed at those individuals with more personal responsibility and autonomy in their management role than the level 3 supervisory managers. Although people at this level are often referred to as first line mangers, individuals may find that the focus of their work is more to do with managing projects or technical matters than with people.
What will I do on this course?
You will complete mandatory units (listed below) plus optional units.
- Develop and implement operational plans for your area of responsibility
- Encourage innovation in your area of responsibility
- Develop productive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
- Ensure health and safety requirements are met in your area of responsibility
- Manage business processes
Candidates undertaking this NVQ must demonstrate evidence of managing activities, resources, people and information. They must also be prepared to propose, implement and monitor improvements to a variety of work activities.

All assessment takes place in your working environment where a Skills Solutions assessor will visit you.
