Manufacturing Apprenticeships
What sort of work is involved?
Manufacturing covers a wide range of industries making such products as Printed Circuit Boards for the Electronics and Telecoms industry, Furniture Manufacture, Chemical Processing and Heavy Goods Vehicle Trailer building, to name just a few.
What training is involved?
Six NVQ units covering Organising and Controlling Manufacturing Operations and key skills in Application of Number, Communication, IT and Working with Others. All training and assessment is conducted in the workplace. Day release to college is not required for this qualification.
