PSHE stands for Personal, Social, Health and Economic education.
It's a non-accredited (but still important) part of learning that helps young people develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to manage their lives now and in the future. It includes:
Mental health and wellbeing
Healthy relationships and sex education
Financial literacy (like budgeting or understanding payslips)
Drug, alcohol and risk awareness
Citizenship and social responsibility
At our Skills Centres, PSHE helps learners build life skills, grow in confidence and better understand the world of work and adulthood β especially useful for 16β18-year-olds who need a bit of extra support before moving on to further education, training or employment.
