Recruitment Service
We provide a free, professional recruitment service to our Apprenticeship programmes. Our applications team manage a database of over 2,000 applicants, aged from 16 and living in the Greater Manchester area.
All our applicants have been interviewed and assessed by our staff
Once we've received your vacancy details, we'll advertise on our website and also match your requirements against our database and select suitable candidates for you. We'll then send you a personal profile on each candidate, so that you can choose who you want to interview. All you have to do is let us know who you want to see, and we'll set up the interviews for you.
There is no charge for our recruitment services and you are not obliged to accept any of our candidates if you do not feel they are suitable.
NB. To qualify for Apprenticeship recruitment and training services, your company must meet minimum Health & Safety requirements and be genuinely committed to Equal Opportunities.
In order to ensure your company can recruit the best candidates possible, all our applicants undergo a Pre recruitment and Assessment process.
We undertake a Basic Skills assessment of all our applicants which is carried out on our premises. This assessment provides a guide to each candidate's literacy and numeracy skills. Where appropriate, we may also carry out aptitude testing in relation to certain occupations (e.g. construction).
Following the assessment, all applicants receive a one to one interview with our staff. The applicant is interviewed by a Consultant who specialises in the relevant occupational area and therefore has knowledge of the industry. This enables the interviewer to make a more informed judgement as to whether the candidate is suitable to work within the industry they have chosen.
