In addition to the core knowledge and skills, you must complete one job role option, your Skills Development Tutor will discuss these with you.
On successful completion, you will achieve a Level3 Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician Apprenticeship standard.
This standard will meet the professional standards of the Engineering Council for registration as Engineering Technician (Eng Tech) by an appropriate Professional Engineering Institution.
You must have a GCSE grade A*-C or 4-9 in GCSE maths and English.
Functional Skills is no longer a mandated requirement for apprentices aged 19 or above. However, some programmes may have minimum entry level requirements for English and maths due to the nature of the programme.
You will attend the GM SkillCentre 1 day per week and a Skills Development Tutor will visit you at your workplace every 4 to 6 weeks.
